Inside the pages
Built for Dad.
Built to last.

Not farm animals. Not fairies. McLaren, Nissan, a bunker, an albatross: 26 real words from his world, each with a dad fact he'll enjoy reading out loud. The bedtime story is finally about him.
The whole bookshelf
30 worlds. 26 letters each.
One dad at the centre of every page.
Fishing to firefighting, golf to gridiron, tools to touchdowns. If he has a world, we have the alphabet for it.

Our story
It started with a one-year-old and a bookshelf with no Dad in it.
Reading to his daughter Harper, our founder noticed every book was about farm animals and fairies and none were about his world: the fishing trips, the tools, the footy. So he made one. Then a pilot mate left flying to help make 29 more. Each book turns Dad's job, hobby or sport into a first alphabet, so her first words can include "wrench" and "touchdown".

Books About Dads and Sons: How a Story About Dad's World Becomes a Son's First Understanding of His Own
A son's first model of what it means to be a man is his father. Not consciously. Not through instruction or deliberate transmission. Through observation — the slow, continuous accumulation of watching the person he is most attached to move through the world.

Books About Dads and Daughters: The Stories That Shape the Father Daughter Relationship
What a daughter understands about her father in the first six years of her life shapes, in ways that persist across decades, how she understands herself in relation to the people she loves.

Dad and Child Bonding Books: The Books That Build the Relationship, Not Just the Bookshelf
That treatment — the wear, the insistence, the specific way a child reaches for one book rather than another — is the sign that a book has done something most books do not. It has become part of the relationship between a dad and his child. Not just a story they read together. A shared world they return to.
